Celebrating 29 years of academic excellence, The Hotel School is a unique educational partnership between Southern Cross University and Mulpha Australia, a major investor in the hospitality industry. The Hotel School Melbourne is now also open from new premises in Lonsdale Street, in Melbourne's CBD, it delivers the same courses. The Hotel School delivers the Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management, Master of International Tourism and Hotel Management, Graduate Certificate in International Tourism and Hotel Management and Graduate Diploma in International Tourism and Hotel Management. The courses offered at The Hotel School focus on hotel operational skills, management practice in the tourism and hospitality industry and the skills needed for continued learning in a changing global business environment. The three-year Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management, offered at The Hotel School, focuses on hotel operational skills, management practice in hospitality industries and the skills needed for employment in a competitive, changing, global business environment. The course offers subjects such as Hospitality Services Management, Marketing Principles, Tourism and Hospitality Research and Analysis, and our Work Integrated Learning Program, or the Internship. The Internship requires students to complete six months continuous service with one organization and may be undertaken within Australia or internationally.
